The Official NH Blog-Con will still be held on October 14, 2006 at 4:00 pm at the Common Man in Concord.
This is just a rememinder that there will be a mini-Blog-Con this Saturday (July 29th) at 1:00 pm. I am heading over there to do some shopping (manly shopping, that is – tobacco, books, power-tools) and to check out the Common Man and see what sort of place it is.
If you are in the area and want to check the place out as well, just show up. If not, then we’ll see you in October!

You New Hampshirianites are a little freaky about your blog meet & greets! Maybe it’s because there’s nothing better to do in NH than grow prizewinning tomatoes and debate the ethnicity of the new non-whites who moved in down the boulevard (because having streets would be far too pedestrian).

Let me illuminate you on some of your misconceptions.
1) We grow prizewinning PUMPKINS, not tomatos
2) We don’t concern ourselves with ethnicity. If you ain’t from around here, you ain’t welcome, regardless of race, creed, or color.
3) We don’t have boulevards.

But I bet you have plenty of Promenades, Ways, and Thoroughfares! Cheeky bastards can’t use regular words like road, drive, or avenue.

Alex, New Hampshirites don’t do Promenades, Ways or Thoroughfares. What we do specialize in are “Rotaries,” that are really death-traps for out-of-staters
