Life. . . don’t talk to me about Life.

Ah yes. . . blogging. . . those were the days. . .

I’m still around and alive, but things have been incredibly busy at work and home - and frankly I just haven’t had the time or the interest to keep this blog updated.

That does NOT mean that I’ve abandoned this site. I mean, a blog isn’t supposed to be the daily news. You post when you are in the mood, and you don’t when you’re not.

So, lets give a quick run-down of what’s been happening:

  • Foster Care: We are approaching the end of the red-tape journey, and we will be officially licenced in a couple of weeks. After that, there is no tellilng when we will get our first placement, but we are ready for it whenever it comes.
  • Amber: Amber is now dating her former boyfriend’s best friend. This sounds bad, but Amber and her new boyfriend are really good friends, and he’s a great guy. They really are better together than Amber and her ex, and I like him better.
  • Aaron: Aaron started dating an old ex-girlfriend, and broke up with her again after a week. Some things weren’t meant to be. I never realized how shallow middle-school kids were until Aaron dyed his hair black, and now all of a sudden he is getting girls all over him. Kids.
  • Original Cindy: The spousal unit is doing well. She’s been busy doing childcare for our autistic godson, and for the 5 month old baby of a friend of ours. She loves kids and can’t get enough of them.
  • Work: Work is going very well. I have been working hard implementing some new Lean processes in my Global Print Lab, and my goal and vision for my team is to create a world class technical service and sales support resource.
  • Work 2: I am being sent to our UK facility next month to facillitate a Kaizen event (i.e., Lean event or Continuous Improvement event). This is a great opportunity for me and may be an indication that they are grooming me for something bigger.

Thats about it for now. I’ll make some more FUN posts in the near future - but don’t hold me to that.
