As is tradition, we set up the Christmas Tree on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I’ve always thought Daylight Savings time was a rather stupid and unnecessary disruption in the flow of things. Now the Chosen One has illuminated some practical reasons for getting rid of this.

The energy saved by reduced lighting needs is more than offset by increased heating and cooling needs. By eliminating DST, the potential savings world-wide is in the billions of dollars.
I say, whatever argument we need to use to get rid of DST lets do it.
