Eight Things you Probably didn’t Know about Me

I got tagged by Joanie over at Grain of Salt, so here it is (10 days late, but oh well :) )

  1. I love sushi. Not earth-shattering, but very true. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sushi type that I didn’t like
  2. I’ve never had any biological children. My two kids are from my wife’s first marriage. Although not related by blood, I will put the slap-down on anyone who says they aren’t mine.
  3. I started my college career in 1986 with the intent to go into Computer Sciences, and later changed it to Mathematics. I now kick myself, because, if I would have stuck with it, I would have been entering the Computer Science career during the hey-day of computer programing and systems administration. Doh!
  4. I am 1/8 American Indian. I have no idea what Nation, but on my mother’s side of the family, the American Indian features are very much pronounced.
  5. The first book I ever read for pleasure (in other words, it wasn’t forced upon me by the education system), was A Spell for Chameleon, by Piers Anthony. It was lent to me by Lee Savory, my Earth Sciences lab partner in the 8th grade
  6. I am a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. And although I do not see it, the universe is unfolding as it should.
  7. I am a Sims 2 addict, and I buy every expansion set that comes out as soon as it hits the shelves.
  8. I have tried many times to keep my face goatee-free. But I feel that I look like a dork without it, I keep growing it back.

There. And now I’m supposed to tag three people, and my two best blog-buddies, Janice and Joanie have already done this. . .so. .

I’ll tag:
Ms. BuckyBall
K8 the Gr8
and
Alex (just because I know how much he hates these)

Cheers all!

Nicely done CJ. You should really talk to your mom and find out what tribe you are descended from.

Do they still make you clean toilets in Sims2?

    Janice

I had to stop playing Sims after a while. I couldn’t stop imagining those bars telling me when I need to eat or pee or socialise… also I couldn’t stop picturing little plusses popping over people’s heads when I was having conversations with them. Besides, it’s weird playing a game where you’re controlling a virtual life, which becomes more consuming than real life itself!!

I’m playing Canis Canum Edit now… it’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys!

    Ok, I’ll do it.

    You’re 1/8 American Indian. Pretty interesting…
